Heavy snow and high winds are expected to create treacherous conditions for travelers across five states this week.

Winter storm warnings are in effect in New Mexico as places may see as little as 1-3 inches of snow – or as much as 1-3 feet of snow.

Stevens Pass and Holden Village are both subject to a winter warning until 10 a.m. PST this morning, with up to four inches of snow expected to fall in the area. The NWS said drivers should be mindful of winter driving conditions on Highway 2 near Stevens Pass.
