No. 17 NC State takes on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons after Aziaha James scored 25 points in the Wolfpack's 85-57 win over the Virginia Tech Hokies.

Wake Forest has its 2025 football schedule with Coach Jake Dickert’s opening game set for Aug. 29 against Kennesaw State at Allegacy Stadium Dickert, who is in his first season, will follow that game with a Sept. 6 matchup at home against Western Carolina.

A conference scheduling conflict for Wake Forest forces the schools to move their game to earlier in the season.

Several former Michigan State football staff members have been hired by new Wake Forest head coach Jake Dickert, including Effrem Reed, Scottie Hazelton, and now, TJ Hollowell. Hollowell worked with Mel Tucker’s staff from 2020-2023.
