Emily in Paris is saying “ciao” to Venice, Italy. For its fifth season, the Netflix series starring Lily Collins will travel to the canal-filled city. All 10 episodes of season 5 will arrive on the streamer on Dec. 18.

Following the summer 2024 release of Emily in Paris season four, Netflix officially greenlit the romantic comedy series for a fifth season. The streaming giant confirmed the news with a video of star Lily Collins. “There's no place like Rome,” the actor says before sipping on an Emily in Paris espresso cup, revealing a red “5” marked on the bottom.

Deadline announced two new additions to the Season 5 roster in July: Bryan Greenberg ( Suits LA, Junction) will play Jake, an American expat living in Paris, and Michèle Laroque ( Brilliantissime) will play Yvette, one of Sylvie’s oldest friends.
