Toronto Maple Leafs coach Craig Berube says he does not think Auston Matthews' upper-body injury is too serious.

Auston Matthews is not only gunning for the Maple Leafs goal scoring record. He also isn't too far behind the team's points record, as well. He is 338 points behind Mats Sundin for the all-time franchise record in points. This will take a few more seasons to break. But he certainly has the ability to do so within the next few years.

Auston Matthews scored to tie the game and set up John Tavares' winning goal in the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-2 win against the Detroit Red Wings in their final NHL pre-season outing on Saturday.

On Tuesday, Auston Matthews left the Toronto Maple Leafs’ practice early, raising concerns across Leafs Nation, and forcing him to miss the second game of the team's preseason.
