T-Mobile recently blocked a cyberattack linked to "Salt Typhoon". They're strengthening defenses and discussing with US leaders on security.

U.S. telecom firm T-Mobile said on Wednesday it had detected attempts in recent weeks by "bad actors" to infiltrate its systems but they did not access sensitive customer data.

The phone giant said hackers did not access the contents or logs of customer phone calls or text messages, during an industry-wide attack on phone and internet companies.

T-Mobile, a frequent victim of data breaches, recently revealed how it successfully thwarted a major cyberattack.

The mobile carrier provided its first detailed rundown of how it stopped hackers from infiltrating its networks.
