Vinnie Pasquantino homered twice and drove in a career-high six runs, Bobby Witt Jr. added three hits and the Kansas City Royals beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 9-3 on Friday night. The Royals have won three of their past four games.

The Kansas City Royals rolled into town sitting on a powder keg. Their dormant offense needed the right environment to ignite and the right player to light a spark. Vinnie Pasquantino answered the call in the Royals' 9-3 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks. He hit two home runs and recorded a career-high six RBIs.

The Diamondbacks will have a short turnaround with the early game tomorrow, so thankfully we won’t have to dwell on this one very long. The game result not being what we’d wanted, I still hope everyone enjoyed the fireworks and barbecue!
