LINCOLN PARK, Mich. (FOX 2) - A Lincoln Park police officer was shot in the area of Outer Drive and Fort Street Tuesday afternoon. The suspect was also wounded in the 26400 block of Outer Drive.

Lincoln Park − A Lincoln Park police officer and a suspect were hospitalized after a narcotics investigation led to gunfire Tuesday afternoon, authorities said. Officers for the Special Investigation Section of the Michigan State Police were requested at the scene in the 26400 block of Outer Drive at 3:50 p.m.
