Former Bruins forward and Walpole native Chris Wagner was placed on waivers Saturday by the Colorado Avalanche. The 33-year-old forward will likely head to the Colorado Eagles of the American Hockey League if he’s not claimed.

The Bruins selected Koppanen as the 135th overall pick of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. The 6-foot-5 forward appeared in five NHL games with the Bruins in 2022-23, posting one assist, eight hits, and four penalty minutes.
