By Julien Pretot MIAMI (Reuters) -Real Madrid hit their stride at the Club World Cup on Tuesday, edging Juventus 1-0 to reach the quarter-finals thanks to a second-half strike from academy graduate Gonzalo Garcia as Kylian Mbappe made his tournament debut.

Against Juventus, Alexander-Arnold looked very isolated at times on the Real Madrid right in the first half. That would suit some wing-backs but it is questionable how much it plays to Alexander-Arnold’s strengths. He spent much of that opening period passing safely and, in particular, backwards – as illustrated in the graphic.
