Batman Comics Relaunching With Matt Fraction, #1 Set Release Date Window
DC Comics stunned attendees at the ComicsPRO convention with a surprise announcement. The state of the Batman monthly series following Hush 2 has been a total mystery. However, DC has now revealed that the series will relaunch with a new #1 issue.
Matt Fraction takes the reins on DC’s Batman, with a redesign and renumbering
Rounding out the announcements was a new creative team and direction for Action Comics: Writer Mark Waid ( Batman/Superman: World’s Finest) and artist Skylar Patridge, a veteran of DC’s anthology specials, will refocus the book on Clark Kent’s early years as Superboy in Smallville, starting with June’s Action Comics #1087.
