Perhaps someone left the Cam Henderson Center doors open near the Marshall women’s basketball team’s locker room.

That describes Marshall University’s women’s basketball team. The Thundering Herd (5-11 overall, 0-5 Sun Belt Conference) battled the flu and Old Dominion Saturday, falling 80-75 in Norfolk, Virginia.

Xavier Brown led Jamess Madison (10-8, 3-3 SBC) with 13 points. Elijah Everett-Hutchins added 12 and Lindsay 10. Mark Freeman, who burned the Herd for 31 points in the first meeting, managed just five. He was 1-of-7 from the field with no threes in four tries. He had gone over 1,500 career points and 500 career assists in his previous game.
