Barcelona have been struggling to secure Marcus Rashford’s La Liga registration following his loan move from Manchester United but the situation now appears to have been resolved

Marcus Rashford and Joan Garcia have been registered in time to feature in Barcelona’s first La Liga game of the season against Mallorca on Saturday. Rashford signed on loan with an option to buy from Manchester United last month but faced a problem that has hampered Barcelona in recent seasons.

Barcelona beat Mallorca 3-0 as Marcus Rashford made his La Liga debut for the club, but manager Hansi Flick was far from happy afterwards. It looked like an ideal start to the league campaign for the champions as Raphinha, Ferran Torres and Lamine Yamal scored the goals away from home.
