The Cowboys, Texans and the NFL are helping those in need as recovery continues after devastating floods ravaged the Hill Country.

The NFL and its two Texas-based teams announced a $1.5 million donation to the communities impacted by the flooding in Central Texas.

Horrific flash flooding in Texas has claimed 59 lives, with 11 young girls who were attending a summer camp still missing. Both the Texans and the Cowboys have donated $500,000 to the relief and recovery efforts.

Julian Ryan’s final words to his mother, as floodwaters quickly engulfed their trailer home, were simply, “I love you.”

Authorities said at least 24 people have died in flooding around Kerr County, Texas, and officials are still performing water rescues.

At least 78 people have died after heavy rainfall caused flash flooding in parts of central Texas on Friday, officials said.
