President-elect Donald Trump announced Saturday afternoon he's nominating Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister to be the next Administrator of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

Calling it the "honor of a lifetime," Sheriff Chad Chronister said on social media that he's "deeply humbled" by the opportunity to lead the enforcement of federal drug laws.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd has enthusiastically endorsed Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister’s nomination as the next Administrator of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), a decision made by President Donald Trump.
