The Golden State Warriors announced that a key player could miss their game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Jimmy Butler left the Miami Heat for the Golden State Warriors last year. After six years with the Florida-based outfit, Butler forced through a trade to the Golden State Warriors.

During his time suiting up for the Warriors, Brown wore only jersey No. 52 and put up 4.0 points and 3.0 rebounds per game.

The Minnesota Timberwolves face the Golden State Warriors Friday at Chase Center in San Francisco, California. Tip-off is set for 10 p.m. ET.

Golden State will try to break its three-game home losing streak when the Warriors take on Minnesota. The teams meet Friday for the fourth time this season.

The Jazz tacked on a free throw after an empty Golden State possession, and then De’Anthony Melton buried a triple with 2.3 seconds remaining to cut the deficit to one point. Elijah Harkless drained both free throws with 1.7 on the clock to give the Jazz a three-point lead, and Gui Santos’ last-second, double-clutched 3-pointer came up short.

The Detroit, Michigan native played the first four seasons of his pro career with the Dubs, coming to an end when he was cut in 1995.

The Golden State Warriors are in the midst of their unhealthiest stretch of 2025-26 and with it their longest losing streak, suffering their fourth straight defeat, 127-117 to the Timberwolves.
