The first images from Prime Video's sci-fi series take viewers through the wasteland of the Mojave to New Vegas, a popular location in the game franchise.

Set to the Ink Spots’ “It’s All Over But The Crying”, the trailer opens to a shot of a barren post-apocalyptic Las Vegas with Ella Purnell’s Lucy MacLean asking, “Why would my dad go to Las Vegas?” The Ghoul (Walton Goggins) replies, “You wanna know why the world ended? It started here… with one man.”

Season 2 of "Fallout" premieres on Prime Video on Dec. 17, according to the news release. Unlike Season 1, in which all episodes were released in bulk, Season 2 will be released weekly. After the Season 2 premiere on Dec. 17, episodes will release each Wednesday:

Amazon's hit adaptation of the Bethesda video game series returns, and this time it's viva... well, maybe *not* New Vegas, quite yet?

Quite soon! As in, next week: we're getting some sort of Fallout Season 2 teaser at Gamescom, which starts on Tuesday, August 19, with Opening Night Live. "Time for a little road trip," the official Fallout series account tweeted today. "Season Two is coming but first: a quick pit stop @gamescom #OpeningNightLive on Tuesday. Bring a Stimpak."
