Red Wings recall goalie prospect Sebastian Cossa: 'Dream come true'
Cossa (6-foot-6, 222 pounds) has gotten off to a fine start with the Wings' minor-league affiliate Grand Rapids, going 9-4-1 with a 2.21 goals-against average and .925 save percentage. Cossa spent the entire 2023-24 campaign with the Griffins, showing a 22-9-9 record with a 2.41 GAA, and .913 SVS and two shutouts in 40 regular-season games.

The Detroit Red Wings have recalled goaltender Sebastian Cossa from the Grand Rapids Griffins, it was announced Monday. Cossa, who was drafted by the Red Wings in the first round of the 2021 NHL Draft, has spent the entire season in the AHL thus far.
