UCF coach Gus Malzahn is resigning from the Knights to become the new offensive coordinator at Florida State, according to ESPN. Malzahn posted a 28-24 record in four seasons with the Knights but had consecutive losing seasons after joining the Big 12.

Malzahn went 28-24 with the Knights, but after two nine-win seasons in the AAC, UCF fell to 10-15 in its first two seasons in the Big 12.
