The losing 2024 presidential ticket of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) and former Vice President Kamala Harris is "together again," as a fundraising email put it, aiming to raise money for Walz's reelection next year.

Shapiro is seen as a likely candidate in the 2028 Democratic presidential primary. He was one of the many contenders interviewed to be Harris’ running mate in the 2024 election, which ultimately became Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D).
