Very safe area. There are a couple of excellent hotels on Monroe that are a 2 block walk to Millennium Park. I love the Hampton Inn next to the theater at the intersection with …

Very safe area. There are a couple of excellent hotels on Monroe that are a 2 block walk to Millennium Park. I love the Hampton Inn next to the theater at the intersection with Dearborn. There are 9 rooms on each floor and it is very quiet. The blue line from O'Hare airport stops 1/2 block from the hotel. Plus the hotel offers a full breakfast every day. The Kimpton Gray is also a great place to stay on Monroe at the intersection with LaSalle.

We parked at Lakeside of Millennium Garage. If you buy the parking pass online, it's cheaper. We paid $15 for up to 8 hours of parking.
