WEBOutside of the limitations imposed by consoles at the time, the game actually doesn’t feel that out dated. Sure, some QoL things aren’t there, but it honestly feels like a completely different franchise, but not in a bad way. Destiny 1 had this grittiness to it that just doesn’t feel like it’s there in Destiny 2.

Bungie has stopped cleaning the server traces, which, in theory, will mean eventually over an unknown period of time, the servers will eventually have so many bugs the game will just be unplayable. Its free (to try) and it’s being frequently updated all year round with there being big updates every 3 months and a massive update yearly that brings a new expansion to the game. Destiny 1 is a paid game with paid dlc. The content is pretty fun but the game is now considered to be legacy.

WEBIt still tracks. To my knowledge, it's all gone. You can no longer view any of your stats and match histories on the Destiny app. You have to go to Destiny Tracker now. Very very frustrating! Thanks to the both of you. I was able to find the match whereupon my ass was summarily handed to me.

WEBJan 3, 2023 · Absolutely. Just know it’s limitations due to the hardware but the taken king saga is absolutely worth experiencing even this late in the game. The best secrets are all right there. Yes, it’s still a great time. I prefer a lot of its content to D2 content, even if it’s sorely lacking in quality of life changes.

Sometimes I just start a new character in Destiny 1 just to be resurrected, turn around, and look at the sun and the clouds.
